Most innovative, powerful, 15 inch laptop to date!!!, January 23, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: MSI GT683DXR-634US (15.6-Inch Screen) Laptop (Personal Computers) First I am just gonna say that this laptop out performs any laptop I have ever owned. From a gaming perspective it plays Skyrim and Star Wars: The Old Republic on high settings without a hiccup. There is really nothing about this computer I do not like. From the lighting, sound, display, graphics, hard drive space, blu ray burner, its simply a work of art in a 15 inch laptop. Personally I expected this thing to be fat and heavy, but thats quite the contrary. As a student I take it to school, run virtual machines on it (it'll run 7 server instances, within its own virtualized environment, I tested with Fedora Apache Server and Windows Servers 2003 & 2008) and of course I play games on it partically the 2 I mentioned above. Its small lightweight fits in any bag and actually gets good battery life with the eco power saver options installed. On the eco battery saver setting I got 4.5 hours and that was with some heavy processing going; the 9 cell battery is awesome. If you're on the fence... Read more
